Carla de Vanegas ( Twitter: @CarlaVanegas) defines herself as a wife, mother, daughter, friend, entrepreneur, passionate about work, innovation, sales and the development of young people. He has more than 35 years of work experience.
She began her internship at Xerox Corporation at the age of 20, when she was a student in systems engineering at the UCA (Universidad Centroamericana Simeón Cañas). She remained for 14 years becoming Commercial Director for the region and was recognized as # 1 Manager for Xerox Latam in Employee Satisfaction; and for 11 consecutive years she recieved the “President Achievement Award”, highest sales award. After that she did Post Graduate in Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
Then she started a new stage of her life as an entrepreneur, being Co Founder and CEO of Tecoloco.com, the first job exchanges in Central America and the first “.com” that managed to sell successfully to a Global company. In 2009 she was awarded the Rotary Award “Entrepreneur of the Year”.
Her sense of entrepreneurship has led her to create several companies, some with social projection. It was chosen by USAID to design and launch the project “JOVEN360”, which was subsequently invited by the World Youth Economic Forum to be presented to developing countries and which could serve as a reference for replication in other nations. She is currently vice president of Grupo SEARCH IN, Senior Partner of Search – Human Factor leaders, Director and Co-Founder of JOVEN360, the leading company in youth employability of LATAM and one of the 10 best social enterprises in Latin America, recognized by the program impact innovation in Latin America (I3 LATAM), Director of Healthy Company, leader in wellness programs of organizations and Co-founder of RED SOFA.
